Hey I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading your blog but it’s taking a while to load up for me. I don’t have a slow internet connection either, so I think it may be your site? Or maybe there is just a lot of people trying to load up right now, either way I advise you look into it and also, keep up the nice blog posts.

I generally enjoy your blog, but I thought you should know that using the word “Maroon” to disparagingly refer to people is actually probably not what you want to be doing:

Well, unless you are down with that sort of thing. Referring to someone as a minority is still a popular slur in some places. This is Texas, after all, so who knows? But I don’t know you, so I figured I’d just provide the information and let you know for the future.

I know, it’s a letdown thinking that W-B could ever be racist but I guess times changed on their jokes and what used to be funny is just not anymore. But like I said YMMV depending on your sensitivity to these things/party affiliation. And based on your other posts, I believe this is just something of which you were not aware.
